TEN RULES THAT HOLD IN EVERY FORMAT

Draft the tier, not the player. If four players are within three picks of ADP, they are one tier โ€” take the role you believe in.

ADP is a crowd average, not a projection. It tells you what a pick costs, not what it is worth.

Positional scarcity beats raw points. A 20-point QB in a one-QB league is worth less than a 15-point RB if the replacement RB scores 5.

Never reach for need in the first four rounds. Need is a round-7 concept.

Games played is a projection input, not a footnote. Availability compounds.

A defined bad role beats an ambiguous good one. Committees destroy weekly floors.

THE FIVE MOST EXPENSIVE MISTAKES

Using full-PPR rankings in a half-PPR league. Tight ends and pass-catching backs are priced about a round too high.

Using one-QB rankings in a 2-QB league. Josh Allen is 31.8 in one, 1.8 in the other.
